I'm back, thankfull I'm back, and I have finally found my muse to write after quite a long time. But in the meanwhile, I have did my best to gather material to continue my StarPlaza Levels series. I have no idea how this blog will look like, I still have trouble with the redaction of the blog but I hope you'll understand this well enough. Without further ado, let's kick it off with the second BASICS collection.

 

I tried to squeeze in a nice picture to represent the whole collection. I have yet to collect them all, but luckily, I managed to collect all the jeans so I can show you all the colors.

 

The collection was released sometime on February 2012 and the most noticeable thing compared to the previous release is the quality of graphics. The items look far more decent graphics-wise, while still keeping a wide array of colors.

 

The collection has fifteeen different types of items, available in twelve different colors, each, which means another 180 different items to collect from the Bazaar. Fun, right? Almost 180, and you will see why in a bit.

 

For whoever is wondering, the name of the items are composed by this formula:
Basic 'Color' 'Type of Item'

 

Okay so in terms of items, you can collect: Jeans (right bellow), Off Shoulder Top, Bandeau Dress, Bandeau (the bra thing), Skirt, Shorts, Tights (on the first mannequin), Bucket Bag, Maxi Skirt, Vneck Tee, Leggings, Tank Top, Ballet Flats, Oxfords, and Tee.

 

From left to right, you can use the jeans to guide yourself with the colors: White, Nude, Yellow, Light Pink, Fuchsia, Red, Purple, Navy Blue, Blue, Light Blue, Gray, and Black.

 

Now, there's a funny thing regarding a few of the items of this collection. Some of them, very few, are STILL up for sale in the Plaza. The next collection which will be covered in a future blog, has a few similar items with a few similar colors. They have in common the Jeans, Tights, Leggings, and Ballet Flats.

 

You can still buy the Basic White Tights, the Basic White Leggings, the Basic Black Leggings, and the Basic White Jeans.

 

However, despite black and white being a color of the third (still available release), you can not buy from the Plaza the Basic Black Jeans, Basic White Ballet Flats, and the Basic Black Ballet Flats, which have been apart from that collection as well. It's a tad bit strange.

 

This means that instead of 180 items, you can find in the bazaar only 176 out of them. They are still... a lot. 14 pages worth of items. 

The most common items you can find, from what I have noticed over my years of search are the Basic Blue Tights, the Black and White Ballet Flats, the Basic Purple Tee, the Basic Black Jeans, and eventually, you'll also find the Basic Nude Tank Top. Oh, and the Purple Bandeau Dress. Everything else is much more uncommon to come across, so you can consider yourself lucky if you get your hands on them for 600 SC and under.

 

Remember kids, do not risk your account by selling and buying them for SD. It's not worth it losing inventories of items for a scrap of item.
