Let's say you're about to head out for the day. You grab some everyday clothing pieces and head out the door dressed like this:

You're wearing everything you need, but how could you make this outfit a little more exciting?

Sunglasses! I once read that your shoes should match either your hair, makeup or headpiece, because then when people look at you from top to bottom, they'll connect what's on your head to what's on your feet and look up at you again! Our shoes are brown, so we'll go with the middle pair of sunglasses for continuity. These also go with the gold accents on the shorts!

Now it's time for a bag to carry all your stuff! What this color is still lacking is patterns! The sparkly clutch at the top seems a bit too fancy for this everyday look, so I decided the floral clutch at the bottom is probably the best bet.

With jewelry, if you have earrings, bracelets, and necklaces available, pick 1 or 2 to wear. With a little common sense, you can decide what other accessories are practical with your outfit, what you want to stand out, and what colors complement one another.

Accessorizing not too much and not too little can drastically change any outfit.
