Stella McCartney‘s name is pretty high up there on the list of designers going above and beyond the call of winter/spring collection duty. She’s just had her third child and is busy designing uniforms for the UK’s Olympic team, all while working hard on her summer collection as well as producing a special one off collection to be shown at London Fashion Week in February.

In fact, that runway show is set to be part of a greater Stella-thon in London in February during which the designer will fete the opening of her new shop (with its own kid’s boutique), the launch of her latest perfume and a shop-in-shop at Selfridge’s, “The World of Stella.”

As for what will feature on the British runway, it’s in honor of the 2012 Olympics, but won’t be a presentation of the uniforms she’s made in collaboration with Adidas. The clothes will be available most places McCartney’s collection is sold, and she’ll show her fall collection in Paris the following week as usual.
