With the 15th anniversary of Legally Blonde upon us, Reese Witherspoon took to Instagram to celebrate by trying on some of her Elle Woods outfits! I thought I would join in and create some super fun looks inspired by the movie!

So to start with the obvious, the most important part to achieving the look is the colour pink! Of course, you don't need head-to-toe pink, but it's a lot easier to pull off if you find a two-piece, such as the blazer and shorts. I think the boxy fit of the blazer, shorts, white shirt and grid print clutch contrast the girly hot pink perfectly. A Jackie Kennedy inspired pillbox hat would be perfect, but with limited resources the fascinator works just as well. Lastly, how cute is this Chanel bag? I could totally see Elle sporting this when out shopping!

My last two outfits are a lot more casual. I have traded the pencil skirt and dress shorts for two Moschino skirts (how perfect was the SS15 show for her?), one in denim and the other leather, again working well with in contrast to the baby pink. The cute cardigan and pearl necklace adds the classy look, while the heart sunglasses are fun. Lastly, for the 00s touch I have included the matching hat and scarf!
