MSW Semi-Finals FAQ

vor 100 Monaten

The first phase is over, dolls! But the competition is just heating up.

For those of you who were bursting with questions, we have a few answers!

You said the countries wouldn't matter, so why are the dolls divided in regions?

The country a doll is from had no bearing into the counting of the votes. All 200 semifinalists are the dolls who had the largest number of votes worldwide.
The carousel divides the semifinalists by region (according to the doll's flag) just to make it easier to sort through all the candidates.

I know I had the votes. Why didn't I make it?

The only possible reason for not being in the semifinals is because A) you didn't follow the requirements or B) you didn't get enough votes.

Please keep in mind that this is a very competitive event! Stardoll is a community that consists of millions of dolls
-- and only 200 of them made it to the 2nd round. Lots of you campaigned very hard, but unfortunately that does not always mean you got enough votes to place in the top 200.

Do I have to choose just one favorite? I like many of the candidates!

You can vote for all dolls you like! But only once a day for each one. Be sure to come back every day to vote for your favorites and increase their chances of becoming the next MSW!

Will the finalists be selected according to countries or regions?

No. The dolls with the highest total of votes will move on to the finals. The country they are from is not taken into consideration.

It's not fair. Why is it always the same dolls every year?

Well... the dolls that make it into the 2nd round are actually selected by you! It's not the Stardoll Staff that determines who gets to be in or out, but the votes from all Stardoll members. Some dolls are very popular or well-known in the community, so it stands to reason that they would be prominent year after year.

Hope that helps. Keep up with the great work and VOTE VOTE VOTE! ;)
