Pure Awkwardness

vor 103 Monaten

See how many of the following awkward situations you relate to.

Disappearing Act
You're out with your friend, and suddenly she/he sees one of their friends that you don't know. She/He introduces you and then decides that they need to go 'do something', leaving you alone with their friend. And then it's just a string of awkward conversations and silence.

First Date
You're incredibly nervous. You don't know whether or not you should eat your food in fear that something will be stuck in your teeth and that you'll be a noisy chewer. He's asking you about yourself and you just keep blushing and looking down at your full plate. Your voice seems to be playing hide and seek.

The Wave
You're in the mall and you see someone waving and smiling at you so you wave back and smile. Until you see the ACTUAL person they're waving at and you awkwardly try to play it off as something else, like itching your head, or stretching your non-existent biceps.

Tripping
You're on the street just happily walking and minding your own business when it comes out of nowhere. That evil uneven part of the sidewalk. You don't see it and your toe collides with it, jolting you forward. But you keep walking. You keep on walking and play it cool, hun!

One Direction
You just ran into your friend in a public place and had a short conversation. You say your goodbyes and begin to walk away before realising you're going in the - same - direction! Do you start a new conversation? Do just completely ignore each other? Should you stop a bit to 'check your phone' so they could get further ahead?
