Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week for S/S 2013 has introduced a new protagonist on its catwalks - the mystic muse.
Gothic, noir, and star-studded, the mystic muse embraces her dark side.
A refreshing change for spring/summer as many designer have opted for a more baroque theme as opposed to the predictable florals and bright colours.
Here are my favourite designers showing this trend:
Alpana and Neeraj guarantee a dramatic entry with their black fishtail-gown. Featuring strong power shoulders, and geometric shapes.
Intimidating yet enticing, Kanika Saluja Chaudhary toughens an otherwise feminine line with strong, metal embellishments.
Finally, another of my favourites from the catwalk is Rajesh Pratap Singh's classic black garments, which have been given a sophisticated edge by contrasting textures and cuts.
Dolls - ditch the flowery dresses and girly pastels; it's time to reveal the mystic muse in you!!
