قامت دراسة جديدة من جامعة "سانت آندروز" بدراسة أثر استهلاك الفواكه والخضار في إدراكنا للون البشرة. أشارت الدراسة إلى أن تناول 3 أنواع من البروتينات يوميا، على الأقل، من الخضار والفواكه، بما فيها: الجزر والكرنب والكيوي بشكل خاص، يكسب الجلد لمعانا ورونقا صحيا بعد عدة أسابيع
