Hi everyone!

This post was inspired by a convo I had with a friend about Moschino. Franco Moschino loved to reference the classic designs of Chanel, once saying "I have been making fun of Chanel with deep respect." Jeremy Scott continued this aesthethic, creating designs inspired by Chanel. I used to think that they were bold fashion statements apart, but then I found that they are even stronger together. So I thought, what better way to highlight that than styling both Chanel and Moschino together in a post?

To start off, for the first two outfits I styled Chanel and Moschino separately.

For Lea (left) I have chosen a Parisian beret, a nod to Coco Chanel's roots, a white turtleneck, and Karl Lagerfeld designed ruffled sleeve multicoloured tweed bomber. The pink quilted double boy bags keep the look fresh and modern. I went for these embellished blue jeans on the bottom part of the outfit, and added a pair classic silver cap toe boots.

Alice (left) wears a studded beret, to complement Lea's, a black bow scarf and a medium quilted black backpack. She wears a head-to-toe matching pink quilted suit, a Jeremy Scott design, with gold chains on the outside, and a black turtleneck sweater underneath. Coco Chanel used to sew chains onto the bottom of the hem so that the suit would hang perfectly when worn. A pair of gold chain detail boots complete the look.

For the other two outfits I combined Moschino and Chanel pieces in both silver and gold.

Kiki (left) wears a two-layer white pearl headband, Coco loved layering strand upon strand of faux pearls, a black flared sleeveless top and a black silver chain detailing puffy skirt. To complement the skirt, I added a pair of Moschino over-the-knee socks, and a pair of Chanel silver cap toe boots. A chain handbag is the perfect accessory for this look.

Kenzie (right) has a white beret with black brim decorated with a gold brooch, brooches being her favorite way to accessorize an outfit. She said "Accessories are what makes or marks a woman." I chose a Chanel sweater dress with black lace underneath and a pair of tight-high Moschino quilted black boots with hanging chains. I accessorized with a gold Moschino logo chocker, and a Moschino locket bag.
