Amy Winehouse emerged yesterday with her famous black beehive of hair bleached blonde. The image startling for many, was familiar to Stardolls who have had the blonde hair option in the Amy Winehouse dressup game for months. Her new blonde look was revealed when she popped out to a corner shop in London.

She had it up in a little do-rag, for a lite touch of a Rosie the Riveter look. A friend of La Winehouse shared some of the history on this historic decision: "Amy decided she wanted to bleach her hair at the beginning of the week. "She sees it as a new year and a new start. A change of image seemed a good way to mark it.

"She didn't do it herself. A hairdresser coloured and styled it. "It hasn't been all cut off. She's still got long hair." Might look little bit like this if she let's it tumble back down. It's the lighter side of Amy
