Hello, dolls!

The unicorn trend has apparently taken over - from hair to Starbucks, it appears that this fun, sparkly and rainbow trend embracing nostalgia and childhood is here to stay. In honour of this very bright trend, I've created a unicorn eye look which is easy to recreate and even easier to customise to your preferences.

Start with the eyeliner. Line the waterline in white to open the eyes and give them a more ethereal look. Create a dramatic white wing also. Then, from the inner corners to outer corners, apply a variety of fun, bright colours. To contrast the white, use a bright eye pencil, such as purple (dipping into the neon makeup trend) to give the eyes more colour and definition on the waterline.

For eyeshadow, start with a shiny base. My favourite hack for this is to use the Luxe white shimmer shadow, as it creates a shiny base without the added pigment. Follow a somewhat gradient - I went from green, to blue, to pink, and then to purple, which I blended into the purple waterline liner. 

There you have it - unicorn eyes! This look is extremely customisable, just swap colours in and out, add or subtract for what you have or don't have!
