The messy bun is a classic easy hairstyle, great for lazy days. Below is a tutorial to achieve this messy look.



- Grab a hair tie and tie your hair into a ponytail at the height you wish your bun to be at.
- Tie your hair into the ponytail but don't pull all your hair in (this should be done so you're left with a small bun at the top of your head).
- With the remaining hair, wrap it around the 'bun' so it covers the hair tie.
- Use bobby pins to secure and shape the bun.
- Pull out pieces of hair at the front (ie your bangs) and stretch the bun out a little to create maximum messiness.
