The latest LE collection was recently released, and it was simply stunning! Based on practical, yet beautiful nomadic clothing, many dolls consider it the best LE released this year. Here's some background on the nomadic inspiration, and my favouite items from the collection!

The Nomadic Lifestyle
While most of us are used to living in one place, many cultures traditionally move from place to place, living in portable accomodation and following food sources. This lifestyle was (and is) particularly common in desert areas, which is a big influence on nomadic clothing! For example, you may wonder why you would wear thick wool and shawls in the hot desert, but it is actually very practical, as it protects from harsh sandstorms and the cold desert night. Although nomadic cultures do not live in the same way as we might, this does not mean their way of living is worse than yours or mine - we all live in ways that work best for us, our families, and our culture!

-Draped LE Shawl: Not only do I love shawls, I also love the striped color scheme and traditional feel of this item!
-Valentino Inspired Earrings: These stunning dangly earrings are beautiful, featuring bright blue feathers. They remind me of dreamcatchers!
-Vagabond Maxi Skirt: Long skirts are perfect for protection in the desert, and this one is so delicately detailed - wow!
-LE Royalty Cross Body: Although this bag looks simple, I would call it simply perfect! I love the decoration and practicality of this item.
