As we enter a new year, I thought I would look back and style some of my favorite trends, brands, and general pieces from 2018! 

2018 saw the rise of neons! Neon green is my all-time favorite color and was spotted on runways including Balenciaga, Prada, and Jeremy Scott. For my first outfit, I styled the neon turtleneck with matching socks and sneakers. 'Ugly' sneakers were also huge this year, with standouts from Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton. To tone the outfit down, I chose a grey blazer and black shorts. For my next outfit, I chose this Ashley Williams sweater and Off-White sunglasses. I styled the sweater with a white shirt, some sports-luxe inspired pants, chunky sneakers and a leather jacket with graffiti detail on the sleeves. 

For my next outfits, I chose two standout brands, the first being Adam Selman! This year we saw his pieces in Subcouture and Pretty N Love. I layered the slime print dress with a t-shirt and tulle dress and chose accessories to match the graphic. The next standout brand was I.Am.Gia. This brand was everywhere, and finally made it to Stardoll in a Subcouture collection! I decided to style the vinyl pants with a classic shirt and heels for contrast, accessorizing with a leather headband, chain, and mini handbag. 

Finally, Gucci continued to be a personal favorite with their kitsch aesthetic. For the first outfit, I styled this oversized sweater with monogram tights, striped socks, and chunky sneakers. I completed the outfit with a green bag and hoops. For my final outfit, I kept it simple with this statement Gucci cardigan, styling it with some classic pants, a white turtleneck, sneakers and a pair of matching oversized sunglasses.
