When visiting the world's biggest fashion metropolis, it's hard not to get inspired. Many celebrities let themselves get carried away when visiting Paris, they incorporate girly elegance into their travel wardrobe and try their best to give the French city's signature style "Parisian Chic" justice. To really succeed with the style you have to scrap all the latest trends, Uggs and everything mini. The Parisian style is all about timelessness. Here are a few Paris loving celebrities who we think did pretty well last time they visited the city!

Even though we love shopping the different trends, we still dress a certain way most days, you know what we mean?! So we thought we'd highlight some of the biggest style and their Dos and Don'ts! Ever since Gossip Girl we've been crazy about the preppy look. Before it was just penny loafers with pleated khakis and polos, but Blair Waldorf brought preppy to a whole new level. Preppy went from blah to hot with colored tights, headbands, fun heels, and structured shirts, so if you tend to dress preppy keep these Style Tips in mind!

    Do
-Shop the basics: white button ups, plaid skirts, heeled oxfords are all musts for this wardrobe
    - Add an unexpected twist: colored tights, a neon head band, or a statement necklace help make a conservative outfit modern and fun.
    - Play with pattern! What we love about Blair is that she chooses well tailored clothes with a playful, bright pattern. Instead of the outfit looking loud and busy, she makes sure to tie it together (example: Blair in the green and yellow plaid coat with the yellow handbag, green heels, and pink and green floral dress!)

    Don't

-Stick to sweater vests instead choose a fitted blazer, which is super chic!- Go overboard. Preppy is a simple style, do a double take when you leave the house and make sure your coat isn't clashing with your tights and shoes and hat (check out the picture of Rachel in the striped coat)
    - Be conservative! While we give Rachel props for rocking knee socks, we wish she'd choose a different shoe (not loafers!!!) and leave the skirt, cardigan, shirt combo at home- boring!

Summer style is here and we're so excited! The hottest trend right now is the maxi dress. The maxi dress is the perfect complement to fun wedges or casual sandals. It's the easiest style to dress up or down, just add some gold bangles or a cute jean jacket- so simple! Try adding a belt cinched at your waist to show off your figure- you'll look like a goddess! Check out our fave celebs wearing maxi dresses for some super stylish summer inspiration! XOXO

We love easy summer hair and braids have the be one of the simplest hair styles ever. We've seen some of our favorite celebs rocking braids on the street and on the red carpet. A braid is a step above the average ponytail and can easily transfer from day to night! One of favorite braided looks is Heidi Braids. Check out Leighton Meester, Sienna Miller, and Jessica Alba for Heidi Braid inspiration! To get Heidi Braids divide your hair into two sections and braid each section, securing the end with a rubber band. Then, grab one braid and bring to the top of your head, use bobby pins to keep the braid in place. Bring the other braid to the top of your head, so it covers the end of the first braid. Hide the ends of the second braid by tucking it into the first braid, secure with bobby pins. Use hairspray to keep the braids in place and for any loose strands. Enjoy this amazingly easy summer look!

This summer is all about casual pretties! One of the best ways to achieve this look is by pairing a floral dress or skirt with a simple jacket or tank and a pair of gladiator sandals. Such an easy look but always looks sooo pretty! The key to buying a floral print is to look for small dainty flowers, you don't want the huge flowers from the 1970s. Keep other patterns to a minimum, let the florals be the focus point! Floral chic is definitely the best way to achieve a fun, flirty summer look and our favorite celebs think so too!

This fun style is back from the nineties and all the rage this spring. The trend was shown at fashion week multiple times with Gucci leading the pack. It´s refreshing with a more sofisticated take on color after the attack of the eighties fashion. And what's great about it is it's not hard to pull off at all. Just get yourself some solid color basics and get to mixing & matching! Of course our favorite hollywood celebs are already all over it. This Spring everyone's closets are going to look like skittles!

As you already know, bright colors of spring's big trends. It's hot to make a statement with color this season, and why not make it in yellow? A bright yellow clutch or a sunny nail polish is a trendy detail if you dont want all of it. Another advantage with this color - its also extra hot when you are getting some tan in your face from the spring sun.

Say goodbye to Winter and your dull grays and blacks from the Winter! Its time for a burst of color and lucky for us, this season's catwalks were all about bold, bright color in big blocks or just mixed and matched one on top of the other like Camilla Belle did in her hot off the catwalk Gucci outfit. Here are some bold colour choices worn on the red carpet lately by fashionistas like Blake Lively, Zoe Saldana and Kate Bosworth. Its all about having fun, right down to crazy shoes!

Menswear for women was all over the catwalks for Fall/Winter 2010, but that doesn't mean we all have to start hiding our curves under boxy jackets and heavy-duty trousers, unless you really like that sort of thing like model Agyness Deyn does!
