Tell us about yourself and your Stardoll journey!

Hi Dolls,

My name is Berçem. I'm from Turkey. I'm 19 and I'm preparing for the university entrance exam. I speak Turkish, English, a little bit of German and Norwegian. My dream is to embark on a career in Translation and Interpretation. I am passionate about learning about languages, cultures, and music!

My hobbies include reading, listening to my favorite bands, and playing Stardoll! I've been playing on Stardoll since I was 12 years old. My cousin introduced me to this game. She was always here making outfits for her doll, buying stuff and yes she was a Superstar too! I became very interested and then I created my first account. I don't remember its name actually, but I do remember trying to make outfits. At that time I had nearly nothing, so it was difficult.

After 2 years of activity, I took a break from SD and came back in 2017. I created this account and try to do my best. I'm still doing my best to improve my account. In 2017, I was a fan of a writer. Her username ended with 'pm' on almost all her social accounts. And ıt was short for "Professional muse". At that time everyone was changing their names with pm so I said to myself, "Why not bercempm?".  The rest is history.

Stardoll is very popular in Turkey. My sisters play Stardoll as well. They love it here. I even created their accounts for them. My best friend plays Stardoll too, but she always forgets her password and creates a new one every two months (LOL).

If I could change anything about this game it would probably be the buying limit for StarBazaar! I love buying stuff and I sometimes see beautiful items in one user's bazaar. I understand it's to help keep scammers away from selling our prized virtual possesions though. I come back every day, because of the amazing StarDesigners on here and to make outfits.

Fun facts about Turkey:

Turkey is packed with cultural heritage. The ancient city of Troy was located in modern-day Turkey. Modern-day Turkey was formed in 1923 following the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Due to its location on top of a number plate boundaries, Turkey is prone to earthquakes, especially in the north of the country. Saint Nicholas, also known as Santa Claus, is originally from Turkey. Many famous ethnic foods come from Turkey, such as manti, kebab, Lokum, baklava, kadayif and more. The total land area of Turkey is slightly larger than the US state of Texas.

"Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always." I love this quote. And as it says in the quote, always be kind. This is just a game. Don't take it so seriously. Just have fun and do what makes you happy!
