Adam Selman is a designer most known for his frequent collaborations with Rihanna, for example; custom outfits for her Anti world tour, a collection of lingerie for Savage x Fenty, and the most iconic of all – the Swarovski crystal see-through dress worn to the 2015 CFDAs. For this blog post, I have styled some of his pieces.

For my first outfit, I chose this bright blue silk jumpsuit that has super cute heart buckle details. Going for a glam look, I added the crystal choker layered with a drop necklace, a silver mini handbag, heels, and a pair of crystal heart earrings that match perfectly. I then wanted to style some of his glitter jeans with floral detail. I decided to layer them with a white slip dress, but a t-shirt or camisole loosely tucked in would also work. Keeping the jeans as the focus point, I added some simple strappy heels and a metallic shoulder bag. Finally, I thought this pair of sunglasses was a perfect match with the shape and blue-tinted lenses.

Moving on to my next outfit, where I styled this striped polo shirt. Originally a short-sleeve top, I wanted to make it look like the version that Beyoncé wore, with the long sleeves and blue feather cuffs. I then paired the shirt with a black denim miniskirt with a ‘V’ shaped waist, but a pair of cropped flared pants would also work. To accessorize, I went with some black sunglasses, a mini bag, and some strappy thong heels. For my next outfit, I chose this LBD with the heart buckle detail ad silver straps. I went for a ‘90s-inspired look, with the black mini shoulder bag, leather beret, silver hoops, and chunky ankle boots with zips that match the buckle on the dress. You could also layer the dress with a white t-shirt or even a black mesh long sleeve.

For my next outfit, I could not leave out this slip dress. This is one of my favorite Adam Selman pieces of all-time, and the dress IRL is covered in tiny metallic hearts! Naturally, I couldn’t resist going for a ‘00s glam look. I layered the dress with a rhinestone bra, which shows ever so slightly. I then added a rhinestone choker, box bag and strappy mules. To go one step further, you could add a fur stole worn over one shoulder. For my final outfit, I wanted to style the fur tube top, worn by Ariana Grande in her Thank You Next music video. I layered the top with a white turtleneck (it would also work with a white t-shirt), and a pair of leather cropped trousers which are a nice contrast to the delicate style of the top. To complete the outfit, I added a black mini bag, headband, and then some cute pink heart shades and heels.
